River Valley Veterinary Services, PC, a mobile practice established in 2020, was the outcome of a long sought after dream. After graduating from University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017, Dr. Bryana Mitchell knew she would someday run her own business, but first it was of the utmost importance to grow a wide knowledge base to be able to better serve her patients and clientele. After completing a mixed animal internship, helping teach a class of mixed animal interns as an associate veterinarian and completing an equine internship under the guidance of Dr. Scott Bennett, Dr. Mitchell has now returned home to follow her dream and help you with your large animal needs.

River Valley Vet is an emergency practice specializing in equine medicine but also offers food animal services on a case by case basis, caring for your cattle, sheep and goats. As a mobile practice, traveling to your farm not only provides convenience for customers but also allows for a more natural environment to evaluate the patient. Clients may also get the opportunity to meet Dr. Mitchell's veterinary assistant, her husband Connor. A computer engineer by day, Connor enjoys helping animals and getting to know the clients.
